China Matsuoka has what is undoubtedly one of the most knockout figures of all Japanese models. Not only is she well endowed with plenty room to rest one's weary head after a long hard day, but she has what has to be a mathematically perfect shape - almost impossibly perfect, governed by the fundamental laws of the golden ratio, packaged in a relatively small frame. While she is no longer active (details after the jump), she has left behind a significant body of work showing off her short, but substantive career.

Julia Kyoka is, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful actress / model in all of Asia. Change my mind if you can in the comments. While she is on the older end of the spectrum (check her details after the jump), she has aged like fine wine, and remains, even after over a decade in the business, one of the most stunning models to ever come out of Japan. There are plenty of beautiful Japanese models out there. There are very few however, that natively have an Anglicised name has become so easily recognizable, that her first name alone is her calling card. Everything from her soft eyes, chiseled cheekboness, slender frame and ample proportions make her stand out in a crowd of hopefuls. Her picture archive should speak for itself.

The elusive Ayumi Shinoda is one of the most spectacular Japanese actresses of the last decade, despite her relatively short stint on the scene. She has come to embody the very essence of that hot Asian girl next door kind of appeal with her distinctive eyes and generous endowment. Would I be remiss if I said that she reminds me of a super hot version of Lucy Liu? I mean, you can see it too, right?

Rara Anzai is one of my absolute favourite Japanese models. Her soft, mature features and her fully veloptuous figure have such a massive appeal in the region, that she (like Julia) has effectively become her own brand in the industry. I think only one other Japanese model is gorgeous enough to inspire her own anime figurine. She is also a bit of a rarity in the industry in terms of her professional career, having double dipped, as we'll discuss in a bit.

Mion Sonoda is the very definition of iconic Asian beauty. She is easily one of the most beautiful women in all of Japan, with close competition from the likes of Yua Mikami, Julia Kyoka and Anri Okita. She, like Julia and Anri, has this uncanny quality where she straddles the border of what is regarded as the zenith of typical Asian beauty and a more exotic quality of westernized Asian women.

Aika Yumeno is easily among, if not the most buxom actress in Asia, perhaps outranked only by Anri Okita in terms of size. She has quite the chest, and truly remarkable photo shoots to boot. It feels like she is the face of the industry to a great extent, given her sizeable features, her resulting ubiquity on DVD and magazine covers and her inimitably charming beauty. I think it's safe to say that she set the gold standard for what a great photo shoot model should aim for.

Yui Hatano, AKA " Seikano Hatano " is probably the most famous Japanese actress in the industry, both inside and outside of Japan. This gorgeous beauty is probably the most recognizable face across the region. She has been a staple of everything pop-culture Japan. Even so, her prolific work extends beyond Japan and has even been featured in Chinese cinema as well as an assortment of other work in media, often collaborating with fellow actresses, especially her close friend, Hibiki Otsuki.

I would bet that the vast majority of people who are familiar with this actress would not have bet that she is not even Japanese by birth. To say that Anri Okita is an OG member of JAV royalty is a gross understatement. Her shoots are nothing short of stunning as you will see in her archive link after the jump. Her exotic appearance and unique features have made her a top model across much of Asia and the west. She is still to date, one of the most beautiful actresses out of Asia, bar none. That is not an exaggeration. Anri represents the perfect amalgamation of Eastern Beauty and Western Charm with plenty of personality to boot. It is easy to see why she's an industry favourite for so many years.
